Barry has been in the industry since 1984 working exclusively with Mannesmann and Manntech building maintenance systems. He founded Cento in June 1995 as a sole trader specialising in the Façade Access industry and from this initial inception Cento has grown to be the market leader in the supply, installation and maintenance of quality systems. Barry’s proudest moment was the award of the Bloomberg London Headquarters in 2014, a project that demanded the highest quality and performance from all works packages.
Collette has been involved with Cento over the last 10 years, initially working during school and university holidays and then going full time in 2013. Her role focuses on developing the maintenance company through continuous improvement and customer relationships resulting in the business tripling in turnover over the last 4 years. In addition, Collette concentrates on running the business preparing it for the future alongside her fellow directors, focusing on financial, commercial, marketing and human resources.
Lee has been with Cento for over 10 years, starting as a trainee project manager and being made a Director in 2016. Lee predominantly runs the engineering side of the business specialising in project management and design. His biggest achievement to date in the Bloomberg London Headquarters’ multi system installation focusing on unique design challenges.
INSTALLATION & SERVICE MANAGER
Martin has been in the industry for 28 years and with Cento for the last 16 years. He has a positive outlook and enjoys the challenge. He is a great problem solver and support to the entire team. His proudest moment to date is the installation of the 36metre, telescopic reach, 70 tonne, Z-luffing BMU at 240 Blackfriars, London.
Will joined Cento in August 2017 after completing his Masters Degree in Agricultural Engineering. He is an associate member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (iMechE) and is working towards chartered status. He has experience within the hydraulic industry, previously working for a global leader in the design and manufacture of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components. Will is currently project managing new installations and in charge of all LG3 overhauls.
TRAINEE PROJECT MANAGER
Hannah joined Cento in July 2018 after achieving a first in her Chemical Engineering degree at Loughborough University. She is currently helping to manage the LG3 overhauls and is looking forward to assisting with new installations. She enjoys the challenge of transferring her education in engineering, design and health & safety to the unique setting of the façade access industry. Her experience in customer service complements Cento’s customer focused philosophy.
TRAINEE PROJECT MANAGER
Deanna joined Cento in August 2018 after gaining a First Class Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at Leicester University. She is currently assisting on LG3 overhauls and beginning work on new installations. She enjoys working with the team and applying her engineering knowledge to the new challenges at Cento.
SENIOR SERVICE COORDINATOR
Claire joined Cento in August 2016 and works within the Maintenance Team. She looks after her key clients based within the City, namely ISS for UBS, CBRE & SOWGA. Her role focuses on overseeing the Maintenance Team and building lasting relationships - maintaining the excellent service to all our clients. Claire has a positive, friendly approach and is a passionate problem solver, being pro-active in responding to enquiries.
Lucienne, currently on maternity leave, joined Cento in September 2016 and works within our Maintenance Team. Lucienne has over 10 years’ experience in client facing roles building and maintaining relationships and is passionate about delivering an excellent service to all our clients.
Lucy joined Cento in May 2017 and works within our Maintenance Team. Her key clients are mainly based within the City and Cambridge. Lucy has over 8 years’ experience within customer service and prides herself on delivering excellent service to all clients. She has a positive and can-do approach and is passionate about working within the maintenance team.
Lauren joined Cento in February 2018 and works within our Maintenance Team. Her key clients are based in London, Aberdeen and Belfast. Lauren has over 4 years’ experience working in the construction industry delivering exceptional customer service. She thrives when set a challenge and enjoys building rapport with clients.
Stacy joined Cento in May 2016 and has over 20 years’ experience in office management, as well as HR, facilities, and accounts. Stacy takes care of the day to day running of our office and accounts department and supports the directors in their activities. She is passionate about what she does and is a fantastic support to the entire team and ensures that everyone is kept in order!
Caitlin joined Cento in July 2018, 4 years after graduating from University of East London with a First-Class degree in Film and Video. Her job at Cento covers HR, media and marketing and van management among other responsibilities and projects. Her variety of HR and customer support work experience suits such a diverse role and she enjoys how challenging it is, and the ambitious yet family-run nature of the company.
